Ancient Egyptians, Modern Poets is the new edition of the Silk Road Literature Anthology edited by Ashraf Aboul-Yazid, to be published next month. More than 140 creative contributors from 40 countries expressed how much they were inspired by the grand civilization. The cover of the third anthology publication (after: Asia Sings & Mediterranean Waves) has a scene for the front cover from the Tomb of Nebamun; an ancient Egyptian tomb from the 18th Dynasty located in the Theban Necropolis located on the west bank of the River Nile at Thebes (present-day Luxor), Upper Egypt. The tomb was the source of a number of famous decorated tomb scenes that are currently on display in the British Museum, London.
