ΑΓΡΥΠΝΩ

Πρέπει να προλάβω

την ανατολή του Ήλιου

και εκείνο το παράξενο

λουλούδι

με τα λευκά πέταλα

και το κόκκινο σημάδι

στον κύκλο της ζωής

να φυλακίσω

***

Ρόδινοι καημοί

στων αγγέλων τους ώμους

στα φτερά τους στολίδια

Βαριά

εκεί που η ψυχή αδιάκοπα

στον ουρανό απλώνει και πετά

***

Την νύχτα λεύτερα τα αστέρια

μετρώ

καιρός να γυρίσω

με του Ήλιου την καρδιά

στης γης την αγκαλιά να βυθιστώ

μαζί με τους φτωχούς

τους άστεγους 

και τους πεινασμένους του κόσμου

σε μια αδιάκοπη 

προσευχή αγρυπνώ

Sleepless

You must catch

sunrise

and that strange

flower

with white petals

and the red mark

the circle of life

to imprison

***

pink Sorrows

the shoulders of the angels

their wings ornaments

heavily

where the soul incessantly

the sky spreads and flies

***

At night the stars free

count

time to go

with the Sun heart

In the embrace of the earth to sink

together with the poor

homeless

and the hungry of the world

into an uninterrupted

sleepless prayer
