Your poems have been short listed for presentation in the IPF-2012. You are rquested to attend the International Poetry Fest-2012 which will be held at J.K.C.College, Guntur, A.P., India on 12-12-2012 & 13-12-2012 for presenting your poems to the Fest audienceYou'll be honoured traditionally along with a copy of the Anthology.

Note:

There'll be Book Release ceremony at the Inaugural function. Those who would like to relese their CREATIVE/ CRITICAL BOOKS /CDs, along with the Anthology "The Poetic Bliss" may bring copies and have their books released before a galaxy of Internationally reputed Poets & Creative Writers. They are requested to submit a copy to the Organizers, so that they'll treasure it in the library.

Kindly let us know of your paticipation in the Book release session.
Also let us know if there're any changes in your arrival & departure timings.

5^th International Poetry Festival

in collaboration with

Contemporary Literary Review India

P. Gopichand and P. Nagashushila, philanthropists and teachers with the English department of J.K.C. College have been organizing poetry festival for the last five years. This year this group at JKC College has come in a tie-up with Contemporary Literary Review India so we can hold the festival in a grand way.

The 5^th International Poetry Festival invites writers and poets from all over the world. We aim to promote writers and their writings so we accept all forms, formats, and styles. However we give preference to innovative styles in poetry.

Our Theme: Women’s Issues, World Peace, Human Values and Eco-Problems. However we are open to other themes as well.

Our Anthology Title: The Poetic Bliss

Submission: Submit at least two previously unpublished (strictly) poems for consideration. Give us an undertaking that the poems are original and are not published anywhere (not even as personal blogs). Also, send your bio-data in the third person, within 10 sentences, including your publication credits, awards & rewards.
Subject Line: Mention Submission: The Poetic Bliss in the subject line of your email if you are submitting for this. Always include festivalpoetry(at)yahoo.comin CC while submitting to the poetry festival. Otherwise write Submission: CLRIfor your writings to be considered for CLRI issues.

Format: The length of each poem should not exceed 20 lines. Send poems in Times New Roman font, 12 font size, single space, Microsoft Word document 2003 version (.doc) as attachment.
Submission Deadline: 12 May 2012.It's 12 JUNE 2012 NOW

Presentation: The poets are invited to recite and read out their own poems at the festival to a vast gathering of literary people and those who have interest in literature.

Presentation Venue: J.K.C. College, Guntur, A.P., India

Date & Time of Event: 9.00 a.m. To 5.00 p.m. on Dec 12 to Dec 13, 2012

Intimation: Names of the Poets whose poems have been short listed will be intimated by 12^th June, 2012.

Participation: Also send your willingness whether you want to read out your poems at the Fest latest by 12^th July, 2012 so that we can manage your provision.

Submission Selection Procedure: A panel of judges will shortlist the poems for presentation and publication. Your submission does not guarantee selection. Judges decision is final and binding. We do not communicate any reason on those submissions that we do not select.

Anthology Release Date: 12^th Dec, 2012. Each poet will get a contributory copy free of cost. But we hope you will encourage us by buying additional copies at a concessional price.

NOTE:

·                     There is no Registration Fee, no TA & DAs.

·                     We do not pay for any poetry contribution.

·                     We provide breakfast, tea and lunch to all the poets who recite their poems free of cost. Free accommodation is also provided to the outstation participants on first come first served basis. Intimate the day and time of your arrival and departure well in advance. We’ll provide accommodation from 11^th Dec 12.00 Noon to 13^th Dec 9.00Pm. In case you find you are unable to attend the festival after you expressed willingness, please let us know immediately.

·                     A certificate will be issued to all the participants.
